Visual Antidote named Authorized iMIS Solution Provider!

By Kristen Hannah on January 30th, 2023

In what will likely be known as the “last” year of the pandemic, 2022 brought an amazing year of growth and opportunities for Visual Antidote. We welcomed several new staff at the end of 2021, and many new developments and integrations, and iMIS Cloud migrations really gave them the opportunity to showcase their amazing skills. We also moved offices at the end of the year to a beautiful new office just around the corner in the Yorkville neighbourhood of Toronto.

We were finally able to connect with our customers, peers and partners at the ASI Innovations conference in Washington, DC, where we were the proud recipients of ASI’s Authorized Consultant of the Year award for Canada in 2021. We also had the pleasure of attending the ASI Innovations Canada conference right at home in Toronto.

Another accomplishment we are so proud of is being named ASI’s newest Authorized iMIS Solutions Provider! We are so excited for this recognition made possible by our talent staff, amazing, collaborative clients and of course our valued partners at ASI.

Some of our larger projects in 2022 include the Catholic Principals Council of Ontario (CPCO)’s iMIS system implementation which was led by our Technical Lead James Harrison. CPCO now has a beautiful new dynamic and user-friendly website which they can update and maintain themselves and manage thousands of members in their membership database. Additionally, CPCO is utilizing VA’s Case Management product kit to manage all their internal cases and complaints. This integration allowed CPCO to scale down from using three separate systems to one single solution—iMIS.

Another project we are extremely proud of is Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators (CAPR)’s system integration which upgraded them from a paper-only system to one run completely online in iMIS Cloud, which one ASI's Great Things Award at the Canadian conference. CAPR is responsible for reviewing and assessing the education and qualifications of applicants who received their education and training outside of Canada. In addition to managing all credentialling and applications, CAPR is also responsible for facilitating the Physiotherapy Competency Exam.

In 2023 we are already off to a prosperous start and we only anticipate it getting better and better. The industry continues to evolve at a rapid pace and we are looking forward to finding ways in which we can use this to grow our technical offerings and create new solutions to serve our customers.
